Description: “Sun Up, Sun Down” sees our spaceman, Otis Montgomery, in a vibrant environment balanced by a parallel sunrise and sunset. The forward facing character is meant to serve as an entry point for viewers to see themselves in the piece, while the vibrant, primary colors are intended to draw viewers in and transport them to a simple, still space if only for a moment. For Art Walk participants and the bustling downtown Seattle community, I hope this piece will provide a moment of warm relief from fast-paced city life.
