From a young age Jake loved drawing, painting, building things and working with form and color. He can’t help, but sketch out his ideas or thoughts, feeling often he can explain his ideas visually better then verbally. He enjoys studying how people interact with the environment around them and thrives on understanding the details of how something works. You can often find him deep in a riveting conversation about even the most mundane aspects of life, somewhat like an episode of Seinfeld. The term “Jake-ification” was created because of his detail focused approach to life. For these reasons he felt called to architecture. As a project manager with 19 years of experience in a variety of markets, including retail, DOD, residential, commercial, education, municipal, government, military, industrial, design build, and mixed-use high rise, he has been involved in small scale to large scale projects.
