Ben martinez
Designer
Ben is especially interested in how people interact with the built environment, and how architecture can make our lives more beautiful, engaging, and sustainable. Originally from Portland, Oregon, an early interest in design and passion for the natural environment led Ben to pursue a degree in Architecture at the University of Oregon, with a special focus on sustainable design. Ben’s interest in the environment and natural systems also led him to attaining a Minor in Landscape Architecture.
After graduating during the pandemic, Ben moved out to Montana and began his design journey, working on many diverse projects across the state and spending every weekend he could camping in the Beartooth Mountains.
Ben moved to Seattle in 2022 and is excited about his return to the Pacific Northwest, and the interesting design challenges to be found at Fathom Architecture.
